The
rear attachment point is a "doll head," that provides an inclined plane
against which the locking mechanism bears. This ensures a tight,
consistent lockup that ensures that the rail maintains a consistent
zero time after time.
The rear attaching point mounts to the upper stock tang using the
original upper tang screw. No gunsmithing or modification to the
rifle is necessary.
