The new “Gen 2” modular system allows the shooter to install a quick-detachable base mount to the side rail of their AK rifle, and tailor the top of the rail to the fixed magnification or red-dot optic they plan to use. These base mounts & mounting system are precision-made, and VERY light in weight (3-5 ounces).
